Item #210473Here is a collection of seven issues of GLEASON'S MONTHLY COMPANION magazine, Boston, all dated from 1874-1875, six of which still have the original pink or yellow outer wrappers (rarely found as such) with the remaining issue having the outer wrappers lacking. All issues have some edge wear as is typical, and all issues contain about 50 pages. A nice group of never-bound magazines. Each measures about 6 1/2 by 10 inches. -
Item #572645Here is a "Delinquent Levee Tax" for real estate from Sutter California for the years 1873-4, issued as a "Supplement" to the SUTTER BANNER newspaper. It lists all the names, the property descriptions and various other details--terrific item noting the previous owners of property in Sutter!
Great for genealogical research. Four pages and measures about 12 by 22 inches and is in great condition. Very unusual item! -
