Item #150424NEW YORK TRIBUNE, April 18, 1871 The frontpage of the issue features a report of "Baseball -- Eckfords vs. Tony Pastors" being a short report and box score. This was not a typical baseball game as Tony Pastors was actually a Traveling Theater, much like vaudeville. This also gives an interesting description of each team's uniforms.
Complete in eight pages and is in very nice condition. -
