THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, Sept. 9, 1667  An early issue of this still publishing newspaper which began in 1665.
The front page has a report noting: "...the Magdalen Ulushing a swift sailing galling with ballast, which came out from thence on Sunday morning last, being sent express from the States to their Plantations in America carrying to them the treaty lately concluded at Breda...".
This is one of the earliest reports we have seen of a notable news report, the Treaty of Breda, being sent to the American colonies.
Complete as a single sheet issue, 7 by 11 1/4 inches, very nice condition.
