This is the only issue known to exist...
LA COLONIA MEXICANA, Laredo, Texas, Aug. 24, 1889 An extremely rare newspaper thought to have existed from 1886 to 1891, but records are unclear. Gregory's "Union List of American Newspapers" notes that only the Bancroft Library had any holdings, and they had but a single issue. It was deaccessioned many years ago and ended up in our inventory. It is this issue. There are no other institutional holdings of this title, which is printed totally in Spanish.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, very nice condition.
Item from our most recent catalog - #371 - released for October, 2026
