No 19th century issues are held by any American institution...
THE LONE OAK NEWS, Lone Oak, Hunt County, Texas, Feb. 28, 1890 A very rare newspaper as Gregory's "Union List of American Newspapers" notes that only one institution (Bancroft Library) had any 19th century holdings & they were deaccessioned many years ago, one of which is this one being offered. The University of Texas has just 2 issues of 1900.
This is the volume 1, number 18 issue. At the 2020 census Lone Oak had a population of 643.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, very nice condition.
Item from our most recent catalog - #371 - released for October, 2026
