THE MASSACHUSETTS GAZETTE OR THE GENERAL ADVERTISER, Springfield, Dec. 31, 1782  Certainly one of the less common American titles from during the Revolutionary War. This is an error newspaper, as all of pages 2 and 3 are blank. The back page is mostly taken up with ads. 
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, an older tape mend across the central fold of pages 1 and 2, scattered foxing, minor margin wear.
