Note: Berry Field in Nashville, Tennessee, played a significant role during World War II as a U.S. Army Air Forces (USAAF) installation. Originally opened in 1937 as Nashville's municipal airport, it was named after Colonel Harry S. Berry, the Tennessee administrator for the Works Progress Administration.
