THOMAS'S MASSACHUSETTS SPY OR WORCESTER GAZETTE, Nov. 16, 1803 Page 3 contains: "AN ACT" relating to the Louisiana Purchase, it stating: "An Act to enable the President...to take possession of the territories ceded by France to the United States, by the treaty concluded at Paris on the 30th of April last..." with much further detail. It is signed in type by the President: Thomas Jefferson.
Also on page 3 is the: "Treaty Between the United States of America and the French Republic" which is on the Louisian Purchase. This is preceded by: "A PROCLAMATION" which introduces the mentioned Treaty.
