THE ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, Georgia, Nov. 23, 1898  The front page has a nice graphic on the historic boxing match between Sharkey and Corbett, with heads: "SHARKEY FLOORED CORBETT & WAS HAVING IT HIS WAY WHEN EX-CHAMPION LOST ON A FOUL" "Fitzsimmons' Victim Was Being Hard Pressed When McVey Springs Into the Ring, Stopping the Fight" "Interference Wholly Wrong" "Referee Kelly Feared There Was a Job in It and Declared All Bets Off" "Sullivan's Conqueror Retrogrades" and more.
Spanish-American War content also, carrying over to page 2 where is mention of Teddy Roosevelt & the Rough Riders testifying.
Ten pages, small binding indents at the blank spine, partially loose at the spine, good condition.
