THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, March 8, 1739 The front page begins with a report datelined at "Naples" and which b begins: "On the 9th instant, by Order of the King an edict was published here, by which the Jewish Nation is invited to come and settle in these parts for increasing traffick in the two Sicilies and their dependencies, with greater privileges than have hitherto been allowed them in any other parts of Italy..." and a bit more.
Complete as a single sheet issue, 7 1/4 by 11 3/4 inches, partial red tax stamp at a lower margin, nice condition.
