Page 2 has a nice article: "The Launch" of the U.S.S. Pennsylvania. At the time this three-decked ship of the U.S. Navy was the largest U.S. sailing warship ever built. Her only cruise was a single trip from Delaware Bay thru Chesapeake Bay to the Norfolk Navy Yard. It was destroyed during the Civil War.
The front page has an article: "The Wills Hospital" in Phila. "...for the disease of the eye...". This remains a famous and respected eye hospital to this day. It was established just 5 years previous.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, nice condition.
