DAILY NEWS-MINER, Fairbanks, Alaska, June 30, 1958  The headline announces: "CONGRESS APPROVES ALASKA STATEHOOD" with related subheads and a nice, red white & blue flag in the center of the front page.
The dateline notes: "Special Edition" and "All Alaska Edition" and 24 pages, however pagination begins with page 13. There may have been another section with pages 1-12 which was not a part of this "Special Edition".
Twelve pages, minor tears at the margins, good condition.
