The sport's section reports a major moment in baseball history--re. Lou Gehrig breaking his consecutive game appearance streak. Page 28 has a one column heading: "Dickey Misses Gehrig, but Carries On" This was Gehrig's first full game sitting on the bench. On the 4th of July of that year would be his emotional retirement from baseball. Nice to have in this NYC publication.
Complete with 38 pages, light toning and a little wear along the margins, more so along the spine with small binding holes, generally good.
