This is issue #217 of this title.
This title published near the end of the English Civil War, supported the abolition of the monarchy and welcomed the beheading of King Charles I. As such it was a Parliamentarian publication, supportive of Oliver Cromwell. King Charles I had just been beheaded four months previously. There is some war-related content in the last several pages.
This is a defective issue as present are 8 pages, while another issue of the era we have contains 12 pages. Measures 5 1/4 by 7 inches, irregular at the narrow margins but no loss of text, some light dirtiness. Imprint typically on the back page is lacking due to the missing pages. Priced accordingly.
