November 16, 1898
THE EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, Nov. 16, 1898
* Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Riders
* Paine's Celery Compound ad
Page 3 has a three column 10x 7 inch advertisement headed: "PAINE'S CELERY COMPOUND; Roosevelt's Rough Riders Restored to Health by this Greatest of All Remedies" with three personal endorsements underneath. Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper. Rare as such.
Complete with 4 pages, 23 x 19 1/2 inches, small library stamp within the masthead, a few small binding holes and minor wear along the spine, generally nice.
