This is the famous anti-slavery newspaper by famed abolitionist publisher William Lloyd Garrison. The masthead features two engravings, one of a slave auction and the other showing slaves being emancipated.
The entire front page & most of the back page are taken up with: "The Great Western Conspiracy". Inside: "The Free South" "A Victorious Week" "The Freedom of Maryland" & more.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, several folds with some wear at folds, minor foxing.
