November 20, 1909
THE EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, Nov. 20, 1909
* United States v. Standard Oil
* Circuit Court anti-trust case decision
* Monopolization of the petroleum industry
The front page has a nice banner headline: "STANDARD OIL CO. IS ORDERED DISSOLVED BY U.S. CIRCUIT COURT" with subheads and photo of the lead prosecutor, Frank Kellogg. (see) Nice for display. Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 10 pages, small library stamps within the masthead, some small binding holes along the spine, generally nice.
