Babe Ruth as a editorialist... Yankees baseball...
ALBANY EVENING NEWS, New York, Aug. 11, 1928
- Babe Ruth as a Editorialist ?
- New York Yankees baseball
The sport's section (page 8) has a two column heading: "Ruth Blames Slump of Yankees On Hitters, Not Club's Pitchers" with subhead and small photo of Ruth. This is actually a editorial by Ruth on the team's situation heading into the final weeks of the season. The Yankees would go on and win the 1928 World Series.
Complete with all 20 pages, light toning at the margins, small binding slits along the spine, generally nice.
