DAILY NEWS, New York, Oct. 19, 1977 The bold headline announces: "YANKEES ARE CHAMPS ! " with a subhead: "Reg Belts 2 Homers In 8-4 Win Over Dodgers". The front page photos shows Reggie Jackson acknowledging the crowd. The back page has a banner head: "REGGIE...REGGIE" with much text on the game, and the centerfold has more World Series photos, as well as photos on Bing Crosby's funeral.
Great to have this report in a New York newspaper, from the city where the game was played. Tabloid-size, complete in 104 pages, very nice condition.
