GAZETTE JOURNAL--EXTRA, May 17, 1940 An interesting movie prop newspaper, presumable one which featured the fall of France during World War II within its script. The large & very bold banner headline: "FRANCE QUITS ! " plus the smaller: "Hitler Vows to Conquer World".
The balance of the four page newspaper has just "filler" material relating to nothing. Such props typically were seen from a distance and received very little on-screen time. Note no city of state, giving it a very generic appearance.
