THE CINCINNATI POST, Ohio, July 24, 1934

* John Dillinger death trap w/ photos
* Chicago theater assassination

The bold banner headline announces: "FIND DILLINGER 'DEATH GIRL' " with a subhead; "Woman Friend Who Betrayed Killer Guarded" and: "Mysterious Figure 'In Red' Who Lured Outlaw Into Fatal Ambush, Sold Tip for $15,000 Reward". Very notable are the two front page photographs headed: "America's No. 1 Public Enemy Comes To The End of the Trail". The top photo is captioned: "Here is John Dillinger, dead, taking his last ride in a Chicago police patrol...The body is enroute to the morgue." and the lower photo shows the historic Biograph Theater where Dillinger was shot.
Also, the top of pg. 2 has a nice banner headline: "Woman Leads Dillinger to Death Trap" with several subheads including: "Desperado's Crime Career is Brief But Exciting" "No. 1 Outlaw Shot Down at Movie Theater" "Dillinger's Gang Killed 7 Officers" and ore. Plus there is a nice photo of Dillinger's father headed: "Dillinger's Doom Expected By His Father" which includes an inset of a young John Dillinger (see).
Contains pages 1-8 which may or may not be the complete issue of this "Morning Edition". Some very minor & typical perforation at the central fold, otherwise rather nice condition.
