March 30, 1878
THE HELENA DAILY HERALD, Montana, March 30, 1878

A great issue from when Montana was still a Territory, not gaining statehood until 11 years later. The front page has: "Perpetual Motion Accomplished", which tells of the inventor Daniel Drawbauch's perpetual motion (magnetic) clock. Also on page one: "THE SAVIOR", being a description of Jesus by Publius Lentulus, President of Judea during the reign of Tiberius Caesar, and another article telling of the auction of a Stradivarius violin, signed and dated 1709, for $4,420.

Page 3 has: "Territorial News" and a wealth of other news tidbits.
Four pages, a great wealth of illustrated advertisements, and in very nice condition.
