THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, Feb. 4, 1683
* Early piracy
The front page has a somewhat small report concerning the infamous pirate, Nicholas van Hoorn: "One of the ship belonging to Van Horn, the famous Pyrate, was about ten weeks agone taken by the Spanish fleet, most of the men escaping." (see).
Various other news from Europe. Complete as a single sheet newspaper, 7 by 11 inches, minor margin wear and a slight bit of foxing. Generally nice.
