THE LIBERATOR, Boston, Nov. 4, 1864  This is the famous anti-slavery newspaper by William Lloyd Garrison, featuring a terrific masthead with 3 vignettes including a slave auction and slaves being emancipated. Page 3 contains: "Proclamation For A National Thanksgiving" "By the President of the United States of America, A PROCLAMATION" which is signed in type: Abraham Lincoln. This is followed by: "Tribute To President Lincoln".
Other content includes: "Sentiments of Abraham Lincoln on Slavery" which takes 1 1/2 columns; "The Presidential Contest In America" "Jeff Davis at Mason" and much more.
Complete in four pages with a small area of lite dampstaining in the lower left corner, otherwise in very nice condition.
