THE WOMAN'S JOURNAL, Boston, Aug. 20, 1887  Rare women's suffrage paper founded in 1870, edited by Mary Livermore, Lucy Stone and Julia Ward Howe among others (see). Published: "...to the interests of Woman, to her educational, industrial, legal & political Equality, "...to the interests of Woman--to her educational, industrial, legal & political Equality, & especially to her right of Suffrage". as noted at the top of page one.
Among the articles are: ""The Newport Convention" which mentions Susan B. Anthony was in attendance; "Concerning Women" "Woman Suffrage A Christian Idea" "Equal Rights & the Bible" "Suffrage A Right of Citizenship" and so much more.
Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, foxing at the ftpg. folds, nice condition.
