Fully half of page 2 is taken up with a great & detailed letter from General Clinton concerning the Battle at Eutaw Springs, South Carolina, a significant battle in which American forces led by General Greene were defeated. Despite the loss Greene was able to force the British back towards Charleston, regaining most of S.C. for the Americans. Included at the end of the report is the lengthy list of killed, wounded & missing.
Four pages, folio size, old tape stains at the blank spine margin, new archival mends at the spine, & a bit irregular at the spine as well. The front page ads has editor's penned notations (see).
