THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, March 25, 1689  The front page has a report from Edinburgh from during the time of the removal of King James II from the throne and just weeks before the coronation of William & Mary. It begins: "This day the Convention meet. The Assembly was very full...The first thing they went to was the choosing a President..." with much more (see).
