DAILY BRITISH COLONIST, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, Jan. 4, 1874

It is difficult for us to get Canadian newspapers from the 19th century, but this is one from the west coast of the country. Among the articles within are: "Dissolution of the Canadian Parliament" "Repeal the 'Wild Land Tax Act' " and a very nice & lengthy: "The Overland Trip--Interesting Letter from a Victorian" which is a travelogue of a trip from Victoria to San Francisco (see).
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, minor edge wear, generally nice condition.
