This 44 page newspaper has a banner headline on page 17: "City College to Hold Its 88th Commencement in Lewisohn Stadium Tonight" with subheads and a long list of the graduates for that year. Under the subheading: "Bachelor of Science" is a long list of graduates with one of the names listed as "Jonas Salk" (see images).

This is a very discrete but likely the first mention of this famous scientist in any newspaper several years before he would become a famous name.
