Item # 575832 ·
THE TIMES PICAYUNE, New Orleans, Louisiana,  November 30, 1934  This 32 page newspaper has one column headlines on the front page: "MRS. NELSON HELD LEADING WOMAN PUBLIC FOE IN U.S." "Police and Authorities of Nation Ordered to 'Shoot to Kill'" with related photo. (see)

This tells of the official F.B.I. announcement of the very 1st woman public enemy, Helen Gillis, who's husband, Baby Face Nelson, was shot and killed a few days earlier at the battle of Barrington.

Other news of the day. Little margin wear, otherwise good.
