THE LONDON MAGAZINE, England, December, 1762 The most compelling feature of this issue could be the beautiful engraving on the title/contents page which is a fine engraving of the skyline of London, including the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral (see photos).
Over half a column is taken up with: "Some Account of Florida" which is very descriptive of it (see photos). Among other articles within are: "Uncommon Meteor Observed" "Character of the late Emperor of Russia" "Preliminary Articles of Peace between the Kings of Great Britain, France, & Spain" which would ultimately end the French & Indian War (the Seven Years' War in Europe); "Advantages of Inoculation" and more.
Full title/contents page, 44 pages, 5 1/4 by 8 1/4 inches, great condition.
