December 18, 1865
THE CIRCULAR, Mount Tom, New York, December 18, 1865  A weekly newspaper published by the Oneida community. Most of the content has religious or literary overtones, however the backpage reports "North Carolina has ratified the Constitutional Amendment abolishing slavery." Also on this same page is information on the division of The Order of Fenian Brotherhood of the United States. Inside the issue is a small report from The Annual Convention of the Base-Ball Players which was held at eh Cooper Institute in New York.

Complete in 8 pages measuring approximately 10 by 14 inches and is in nice condition.
