LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, November 17, 1917 The front cover of this issue features the Red, White and Blue flag which was made famous in symbolizing if a member of your household was servicing in the military, and is currently being used today. With this cover, one was to cut out this service flag and hang it in a window and a star for each additional member in the service.
Inside the issue are articles: "Close to the Front"; "Turning the Bank Book Over to Uncle Sam"; and many other articles and advertisements, including a colored Victrola ad on the back page.
This is complete in 36 pages and is in very nice condition.
