THE DAILY GRAPHIC, New York, October 23, 1879  The front page of this issue features a political illustration "An Octopus Not in the Aquarium."  The doublepage centerfold is comprised of several scenes "Grand Review of the North Atlantic and Training Squadron by the Secretary of the navy at Hampton Roads, VA., Last Week." The backpage features another political cartoon "A Political Shell Wrecker". This issue also contains articles and advertisements, some of which are illustrated.

This is complete in eight pages measuring approximately 20 x 14 inches with several tiny binding holes along the spine. The lower right has some archival mends, otherwise is in very good condition. The doublepage print does contain the tiny binding holes but are very hard to see.
