SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, New York, February 3, 1917 The colored front cover of this issue is of a winter railroad scene in keeping the switches thawed. Inside the issue are articles on "American-Built Submarine for Spain"; "Economic Conditions in Germany"; "Woman In the Industries"; and other many photos and reports about events of the day.

This is complete measuring about 15 by 10.75 inches, and has a library stamp in the upper right corner area and occasionally throughout the issue, otherwise the issue is in very good condition.
