THE UNION, Washington D.C., February 25, 1851 The backpage of this issue contains a small mention "Boston Mob - The examination of Charles G. Davis is now going on at Boston, for aiding and abetting in the rescue of the fugitive-slave Shadrack - the same charge on which Elizor Wright has been held in $2,000 bail." Above this article is another article is "Events in Boston" which is report on the "The Mob in the Court-House on Saturday Last" in regards to trying to rescue a prisoner from the hands of the marshal, which is dealing with the fugitive-slave law. Also within this issue are congressional reports, news of the day and a variety of advertisements.
