THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Dec. 26, 1780 An inside page has most of a column taken up with: "American News" being a report from Port George (Penobscot) which includes: "...We have been completing the fort which is now in condition to stand out a long siege of a powerful army..." with further items (see photos).
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 inches, rubbing to the ftpg. causes 2 small holes, printing error to the "American News" report causes no loss of readability (see).
