September 10, 1864
ARMY & NAVY JOURNAL, New York, Sept. 10, 1864 The first article on the front page is: "The Georgia Campaign" beginning: "The brilliant Georgia Campaign of General Sherman has eventuated a complete triumph. Atlanta, its objective, as fallen into our hands..." with much more taking most of the ftpg. There is also a very nice editorial inside headed: "Atlanta Ours" which begins: "An unqualified, magnificent victory is the sum & substance of the tidings from Georgia...".
There is a wealth of additional war reporting throughout including; "The Shenandoah Valley" "Destruction of the Weldon Railroad" "The Art of War" "Peace or War?" "The Capture; of the Georgia" and much more.
Sixteen pages, some scattered foxing, great condition.
