Has "Confederate States Of America" printed in the dateline which is rarely seen on Southern newspapers from the Civil War.
The entire ftpg. is taken up with ads. Pg. 2 has: "Lincoln's Paper Blockade" "Confederate Congress" "The Lincoln Loss at Manassas, As Far as Ascertained by Names Published" includes a chart of those killed, wounded & missing by regiment (see); "Another Act of Secession--A Noble North Carolina Woman" and more.
Page 3 includes: "Kentucky Election" "Gen. Lyon Killed" "From Washington" and many ads including an illustrated ad for a runaway negro man (see) and two "Reward" for soldiers who deserted (see). The bkpg. is filled with ads.
Complete in 4 pages, just slightly irregular at the blank spine margin, very nice, clean condition.
