LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, from New York, dated January 27, 1866 A large frontpage illustration is entitled "The Cold Snap" "New York Street Scene, Monday, January 8th" and is approximately a halfpage in size. A nice fullpage "Sleighing In The City" and another fullpage "Sleighing In The Country" so the differences in differences in ease of traveling -- both very displayable. The issue contains other news items and advertisement of the day as well.
