FRANK LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, December 30, 1865 The doublepage centerfold of this issue consist of eleven illustrations entitled "The New Fire Department for New York City." This does contain a small tear at the centerfold line. The frontpage is a full illustration "Buying the Christmas Turkey" which is very displayable.
Other illustrations are a half-page "The New Room of the Board of Brokers - the Board in Session"; a quarter-page "The New Building of the New York Stock Exchange - Board of Brokers"; a half-page "Collision Between the Steamers Niagara and Postboy, on the Mississippi River, Friday Night, Nov. 24."; and others and illustrations.
This is a complete 16 page issue which has never been cut. This is evenly browned, has some minor edge-tears and tears at the foldlines; and lite dirtiness. See photos for details.
