THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, Nov. 12, 1745 The ftpg. includes a letter which includes: "...our utter destestation & perfect abhorrence of the unnatural Rebellion that has broke out, & is now carrying on, by some of your desperately wicked subjects in Scotland, in favour of a popish Pretender to the Crown of these your Kingdoms..." with more (see). Additional letters within the issue give further reference to the Jacobite Rebellion.
Another item makes reference to the military situation in North America by including: "...Congratulations on your safe return to your British Dominions & on the happy success of your arms in the reduction of Cape Breton."
Complete in 12 pages with the back page blank, measures 7 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches, some scattered word underlining throughout, otherwise in very good condition. This also contains a partial red ink-stamp on the front page and also on an inside page.
