* Nazi concentration camp horrors... considerable detail
* Belsen concentration camp commander held
This issue contains a lengthy page 5 report of the horrific details surrounding the Belsen Concentration Camp. A photo includes the S.S. Trooper, Joseph Kramer, head of the camp, in chains and under the guard of British soldiers. Kramer was formerly the head commander at Auschwitz. Details include, "...their troops found 60,000 dead, dying, and starving young men, women and children in the camp.", "The dead were getting a burial today at this fearsome camp - each nameless dead getting a ghastly burial...", "...Kramer... previously commanded Auschwitz, where children were taken from their mothers and burned alive...", and much more. Another report gives details of another concentration camp near Leipzig which includes the description of how over 220 prisoners were lured to their death - details too horrific to repeat.
The Taking of Nuremberg: The front page includes a great 3 line full banner heading with a photo of a large Swastika. An adjoining article is headed: "Desolate Nuremberg Taken On Hitler's 56th Birthday". Very displayable.
This issue is complete in 26 pages and is in very good condition.
