April 05, 1890
MOHAVE COUNTY MINER, from Kingman, Arizona, dated April 5, 1890

* Rare title from the Arizona Territory

A very rare and early newspaper from the Arizona Territory, 22 years before it would become a state. Various news of the day with a great deal of fascinating, brief tidbits which provide a glimpse of life in the Old West during the 1890's A wealth of ads as well, some of which are illustrated. The back pg. includes the cattle brands of 8 owners (see).

Complete in 4 pages, light browning to some ftpg. folds, some tears at the various margins, generally in nice condition for a newspaper of this vintage.

This may be the very first newspaper we have ever had from territorial Kingman.
