This is an uncommon newspaper from Abraham Lincoln's hometown, containing on the front page an advertisement, albeit rather small, for "LINCOLN & HERNDON, Attorneys and Counsellors At Law"   (see photo).

A very desirable and early reminder of Lincoln's law practice before he would be thrust into American history forever.

Also, this is likely the only newspaper in the country in which this ad could be found.
