In huge letters nearly 7 inches tall, above the masthead, proclaims:
* P E A C E
making this a very displayable issue. Among the related subheads are: "Japs Accept Unconditional Surrender--EXTRA--The War is over!..." with more (see photos).
Complete in 20 pages, some breaks near the central fold are archivally mended on pg. 2 but there are two small pieces missing (see photos). Some wear at the margin with edge tears as well. Still a great issue for display given this unusually large headline.
