THE PENNSYLVANIA EVENING POST, Philadelphia, October 24, 1776  All of the front page & over half of page 2 are taken up with a continuation of a satirical political dialogue "...between Orator Puff and Peter Easy on the Proposed Plan or Frame of Government".
Page 3 has a report which notes: "Two ships of war are now passing our quarter and standing along shore to the southward. We suppose they are bound to the capes. A fleet of 64 sail now lies at Sandy Hook, inward bound."  Page 3 also has much on a plan for a new government for Pennsylvania.
The back page is entirely taken up with ads including a detailed ad for a runaway servant boy who is a barber by trade. Complete in 4 pages, measures about 8 by 10 inches, very nice condition.
