THE DAILY JOURNAL, Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, Aug. 17, 1948 The front page contains a noteworthy report of one of the grestest legends in baseball history, Babe Ruth, with the two line, two column wide headline reading: "Nation Mourns Babe Ruth Death; Doctors List Cancer As Cause" with the article carrying over to page 3 as well. Complete in 6 pages, loose at the spine, some minor margin chipping, otherwise rather good.
