LOS ANGELES TIMES, California, Feb. 29, 1929.
* St. Valentine's Day Massacre
* Al Capone - Geoprge 'Bugs' Moran
* Gangster Era
The front page includes a two column, two line head: "Seven Slain In Massacre By Chicago Gangsters" with subhead: "Victims Stood Up Against Wall and Mowed Down by Machine Guns; Killers Coolly Drive Off" with various text which carries over to page 2 where there is an additional full column of text. Some old tape mends at margins of inside leaves, and discreet evidence of an address label removed from the ftpg. (not near the mentioned headlines), otherwise quite nice condition.
