FRANK LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED NEWSPAPER, New York, July 22, 1865.  The entire front page is taken up with a print captioned: "Execution of the Conspirators in Washington, D.C.--The Final Preparations--Appearance of the Criminals on the Scaffold." which includes Mrs. Surratt in her dress.  The doublepage centerfold is quite dramatic, captioned: "Execution of the Conspirators, Mrs. Mary Surratt, Lewis Powell (Alias Payne), George Atzerodt and David Harold, in the Prison Yard of the Old Penitentiary, Washington, D.C." showing them moments after the hanging, with their coffins and graves ready for them.  Another fullpg. shows 8 scenes: "In & Around the Old Penitentiary on the day of the Execution of the Conspirators." Some scattered browning, generally nice, complete in 16 pages.
